by Lon Solomon (Author)
When Jesus walked the earth more than 2,000 years ago, He met and spoke with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. The conversations they had with Jesus eternally transformed and changed the direction of their lives and were written about in scripture. We can learn from Jesus' conversations and relationships with these people and apply the lesson to our lives today.
- Mary and Joseph, we learn about God's timing. Satan, we discover the importance of memorizing scripture. The paralytic man, we understand Jesus' authority to forgive sin. Matthew, the disciple, we see how to follow Jesus correctly. The rich man and Lazarus, we learn about the afterlife. The Legion, we discover how to value people. - The Centurion, we learn the faith that amazes God. Thomas, the disciple, we understand the exclusivity of Jesus for salvation.
In People Jesus Met, Lon Solomon offers new life to stories and people in the Bible that we might already think we know, but not fully understand. Get ready to see how meeting Jesus will transform your life.
