by Lockhart (Author)
Welcome to Oakleaf Academy, the fairy boarding school at the end of the rainbow, where readers can join friends Poppy, Ivy, Azalea, and Jessamy on their magical misadventures. In A Secret at Fairy School, the talkative sprite Jessamy accidentally brings an adorable mushroom creature into the school. She knows that she's broken a rule but instead of coming clean she decides to keep it a big secret - even from her friends! But when odd things start happening at the Student Show, she realizes the whole school could be in danger. How can she put things right ... and save the day? Oakleaf Academy is a charmingly illustrated chapter book series, with each story following a different pupil at fairy school. The series blends together the hijinks and misadventures of traditional boarding school stories, the ups and downs of real schoolgirls' friendships and a generous sprinkling of mystery and adventure - all ingredients of a truly magical brew! Ideal for readers aged 7+.
