by Dee Walker (Author)
A CIA agent, in over her head, joins forces with a former agent to solve a heinous crime in this clever mystery where the ethics of vigilante justice are tried and tested with deadly consequences.
No-nonsense CIA agent Emily Jenkins is tasked with convincing ex-CIA agent Sam McKay, who is inconspicuously living the good life on the Florida coast, to rejoin the agency. However, her mission is derailed after a teenager is murdered and the unknown suspect remains at large.
Now Agent Jenkins, alongside McKay, and his highly skilled associates, must hunt for a possible serial killer before he or she strikes again. With each city they scour, and every faulty assumption that leads to a dead end, solving the crime seems increasingly impossible. But when the truth is uncovered, one thing is for sure: Emily's future will never be the same.
This suspenseful thriller that travels the Gulf Coast takes readers on a gritty ride where right and wrong become blurred, and everyone must choose a side.
