MY FIRST ENCYCLOPEDIA OF DINOSAURS
- Step back in time into the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous worlds. - There are lots of prehistoric creatures that crawl, run, climb, fly and even swim - such as the hippopotamus like Elginia, Coelurus, the small hunter, the giant flyer, Pteranodon, and the long-necked Elasmosaurus. - Full of fascinating dinosaur facts to find out more: discover the last meal of the Platypterygius; learn which dinosaurs were vegetarians; and why the name Dicraeosaurus means 'two-forked'. - The giant-sized format is fun for home and also ideal for group learning and show-and-tell. The information is written with children in mind whether they are being read to, are able to read for themselves, just browsing the pictures, or finding out about dinosaurs in more depth. This big friendly paperback offers something to all young children aged from 3 to 9. Dinosaurs are amazing and this first picture book is the perfect introduction for kids keen to find out more about them. In a supersized lightweight format, the book can be read on the floor, held up by a teacher or parent to show and share with a group, and enjoyed by all children whether alone or with others. Thematic spreads introduce magnificent dinosaurs of all kinds, including lots of the most popular and well-known creatures children might recognize as well as intriguing and unusual species to learn about. Beautiful large illustrations by expert natural history artists are full of detail, and there is a bonus at the back of the book with a surprise picture collection of even more dinosaurs to discover!Pay with
