by Kit Gilmore (Author)
In the heart of the Washington wilderness, an audacious television venture is set in motion, years before reality television would captivate the world.
A production team races against time to launch the first-ever reality survivor show in America. The chosen location, a solitary mountain steeped in mystery, becomes the backdrop for an endeavor marked by chaos and imperfection. Contestants, drawn from diverse backgrounds, harbor their own motivations.
As the venture commences, unexpected events cast a cloud over the production. With each passing day, the contestants face an escalating series of challenges.
Unbeknownst to the contestants, the mountain harbors an ancient secret. As the stakes rise and the boundaries of reality blur, the contestants are thrust into a struggle for survival, their fates intertwined with forces beyond their understanding. The mountain, once a symbol of challenge and opportunity, transforms into a malevolent force of nature.
"Little Friends" is a riveting exploration of the human psyche under extreme duress, a story that challenges the boundaries of reality and fiction. With echoes of classic horror and a narrative style reminiscent of the epistolary tradition, this work invites readers on a relentless journey through the unknown, where the emotional bonds between humans are tested and ultimately strengthened by the harrowing events.
