Author Biography
Mackenzie Porter loves writing stories inspired by her family and is the author of four books, including In My Heart, You Are Home, Let Her Be, and She Is Mama. Mackenzie wrote her first book, In My Heart, when she returned to work after the birth of her daughter. Mackenzie obtained her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in 2023 and works full time both in maternal and child health and as being a mom. In her spare time, she loves to travel anywhere and everywhere. She lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with her husband, daughter, dog, and the rest of her big Greek family. Katie Cottle is a freelance illustrator and picture book maker living and working in Bristol, UK. Originally from Swansea, she moved to Bristol to study illustration at University of the West of England and hasn't left since graduating in 2017. She enjoys telling stories through her drawing and uses a variety of media, including a mix of traditional and digital techniques. She loves using bright colors and drawing grumpy faces. Returns & Refunds
Standard U.S. returns are accepted for eligible new, unopened items within 30 days of carrier delivery. Returns are by mail. Customers are responsible for standard return shipping, there is no restocking fee, and standard exchanges are not offered. Once an approved return is received and inspected, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are handled at no return-shipping cost to the customer.
