La corriente del Golfo (The Gulf-Stream), es considerado por varios expertos como uno de los primeros relatos de ciencia ficción escritos en Cuba. Su trama describe los resultados de una propuesta realizada por un enigmático científico, el profesor Duna, a los jefes del Ejercito Libertador durante la Guerra de Independencia. Con la ayuda de una empresa norteamericana, la Gulf East and Corp, el profesor plantea arruinar económicamente a España, desviando el curso de la corriente del golfo de México, para alterar radicalmente el clima de la Península y el de sus aliados europeos. Los generales cubanos aceptan la propuesta de forma unánime y los trabajos dan comienzo, asesorados por un ingeniero cubano, el coronel Acosta. Este volumen, ilustrado por Adolfo Galindo, uno de los mejores ilustradores de la época, constituyó un éxito editorial en 1920, año de su publicación original.

Returns & Refunds
Standard U.S. returns are accepted for eligible new, unopened items within 30 days of carrier delivery. Returns are by mail. Customers are responsible for standard return shipping, there is no restocking fee, and standard exchanges are not offered. Once an approved return is received and inspected, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are handled at no return-shipping cost to the customer.
