A self-described "Indie Handmade Knitwear Artisan & Designer and Fulltime Wisenheimer", Diane Serviss is the co-owner (with her husband) of and design force behind Pixiebell and Elfinwear, which sell patterns for knitwear (predominantly hats), as well as finished handknit items, through Etsy, Ravelry, and Craftsy. Her hats have made it onto both small and big screens: Ty Pennington wore one of her hats on an episode of Extreme Makeover, as does Dakota Johnson in the indie movie Theo, which released in 2013 and also stars Mira Sorvino. Celebrities number among Pixiebell's customers, including Ricki Lake, Nina Dobrev from Vampire Diaries, and Jim Shearer from MTV/VH-1. A born and bred Vermonter, Diane lives with her family just outside of Tampa, Florida.

Supplier-fulfilled items typically arrive in 8–11 business days, including 1–3 business days of handling and 7–8 business days in transit. Returns & Refunds
Standard U.S. returns are accepted for eligible new, unopened items within 30 days of carrier delivery. Returns are by mail. Customers are responsible for standard return shipping, there is no restocking fee, and standard exchanges are not offered. Once an approved return is received and inspected, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items are handled at no return-shipping cost to the customer.
