by Robert Faulk (Author)
A British bomb destroys Lucas's home and family, leaving him with nothing but his beloved violin, his music, and Corinne.
Hitler demands that mothers give up their children to his futile cause, and he forces Lucas to become a gunner on Waffen SS Panzer 227. He fights the
bloodiest battles in human history and becomes a warrior, taking lives without remorse. But if he is to survive, must he also lose his humanity?
Read this gripping fast-paced tale of sacrifice, love, and survival. If you enjoyed Ken Follett's "Winter of the World," and Markus Zusak's "Book Thief," you won't be able to put this
heart-wrenching child soldier's story down!
