by Robert M. Haddad (Author), Joshua Charadia (Illustrator)
Jesus Played Marbles is a beautifully illustrated tale about how the young boy Jesus breaks down prejudice and discrimination in the village of Nazareth directed against Joby, a fellow young boy suffering from poverty and disability.
Through a simple game of marbles, Joby is embraced by Jesus who teaches his 'brothers' (cousins) an important lesson in love and kindness. What will happen when Jesus has his turn?
As you read, you will also learn about each of Jesus' cousins in short personal histories.
