by Cecelia Shine (Author)
The beauty of life is that it doesn't last forever. The beauty of art is that it can. Art is a way to encapsulate life in all of its most glorious and hateful forms. Creative expression swallows life up and encases it so the world can see: in words, in paint, in clay or in rhymes. Poetry, in particular, creates entire souls between the lines and limericks of a page. Every work of literature has bits and pieces of the author's soul woven through it. In Cecelia Shine's first ever poetry book, her goal is to capture the inexplicable prose living inside her, and for those who read it to recognize parts of her writing in themselves.
