I wish we had more time together, or that time would slow.
I wish I could keep you here with me, or that we could run and hide.
A mother cow has only one wish: She wants to be with her calf.
On a dairy farm, a mother cow expresses her love and heartbreak, as she prepares for her calf to be taken by humans. The bond between mother and calf is strong, but they are trapped in the endless cycle of the dairy and veal industries. She only hopes that someone who cares will help them.
Told through captivating rhymes, I Wish explores animal rights in a digestible way for children, and opens their hearts and minds to this question: What steps can you take to positively change the lives of animals?
