by Laura Ann Huber (Author), Krisin Huber Smith (Author)
Hoppy is worried about another baby calf that is only a week younger than her. His knees are swollen and he is having trouble walking. The nurse has to feed him because he's too weak to drink from a bottle. The farmer even has to give him a shot. But soon the new calf is on the mend and the two become forever friends. Now Hoppy has someone to play with during the day and snuggle with at night.
This beautiful and charming, rhyming book was inspired by a real calf on a real farm. Using actual events and pictures this story comes together in a way that is sure to become the favorite bedtime story of many children for years to come. As an added bonus at the end of this book are non-fictional lessons about cows and farm life.
