by Dea Juvette (Author)
Dive into the heartwarming story of "Hoppy Finds A Friend," a wonderfully drawn children's book that captures the essence of friendship, diversity, and self-acceptance. This book, written by Dea JuVette, follows the adventures of a baby Joey Kangaroo named "Hoppy", whose journey from the comfort of his mother's pocket leads him on a quest to find a true friend who accepts him just as he is.
Synopsis: Once the size of a grape, Hoppy grows too big for his mother's pocket. Encouraged to find a friend, Hoppy embarks on a journey that introduces him to a cast of characters who can't see past their differences. From a koala who thinks Hoppy looks funny, to a dingo that declares itself an enemy, and a camel who dismisses the idea of play, Hoppy's search seems in vain until he meets Mac, a boy who teaches him a lesson that true friends love each other for their differences as much as their similarities.
Highlights:
- A Story of Growth and Discovery: Watch as Hoppy learns about the world around him and the importance of embracing diversity.Lessons in Friendship: Through Hoppy's interactions, children learn that true friendship transcends appearances and preconceived notions.Beautifully Crafted Narrative: Dea JuVette's storytelling is both engaging and educational, providing young readers with a sense of empathy and understanding.Timeless Message: Ideal for children and parents alike, this book promotes the values of kindness, acceptance, and the beauty of forming genuine connections.
Included at the back of the book is a heartfelt letter from Mac to Hoppy, reminiscing about their friendship and the lessons learned along the way. It's a touching reminder of the impact friendships have on our lives and the legacy of love and discovery we pass on.
"Hoppy Finds A Friend" is not just a story about a kangaroo; it's a journey into the heart of what it means to find someone who accepts you unconditionally. Perfect for bedtime stories, classroom reading, and discussions about diversity and friendship, this book is a treasure trove of life lessons wrapped in a captivating story for young hearts and minds.
