by Laura Ann (Author)
Her dream in life is to be a journalist,
but her eagerness for a story sends her straight into danger...
Isabella Wood is always on the lookout for the story that will launch her career. Answering a call for help, she comes to work with her grandmother to run a bed and breakfast over the Christmas season. When things start to go wrong around the inn, Bella is ecstatic with the idea of solving an honest to goodness crime, especially if she gets to do it with the handsome Detective Gordon at her side.
Henry Gordon has been content in his detective job. He helps victims and brings criminals to justice. What more could he ask for? When an over eager journalist with bright blue eyes begins to follow his every footstep, Henry thinks he just might be missing something and welcomes her desire to learn. But keeping the beautiful Bella safe proves to be more difficult than he imagined.
When their situation turns dangerous, Henry wants Bella to back off and let the professionals handle it. but Bella's stubborn desire for recognition means the two begin to butt heads.
Can these two solve the crime without losing their relationship? Or will the danger be enough to break them apart?
"Her Christmas Detective" is the third installment of the "Gingerbread Inn" holiday romance series. If you enjoy spunky heroines, strong heroes, and mistletoe kisses, then this series if for you!
While each story can stand alone, I recommend reading them in order for maximum enjoyment and to avoid spoilers.
