by Darlene P. Campos (Author)
"All I wanted was silence in my mind, even if it was only for a single minute. More tears drizzled down my face as I hyperventilated. I was so scared. I was so, so scared. And there was nothing I could do." After her best friends are mysteriously shot in a drive-by and a cherished woman goes missing, Elysian faces a new battle: Her anxious mind. Surrounded by unpleasant relatives with her parents in a far-away country, Elysian feels more isolated each day. As she tries to solve the crimes, she unintentionally discovers a new piece of herself along the way.
