by Mary T. Malone (Author)
The second volume in a major historical trilogy that documents the lives and contributions of Christian women from the beginning of Christianity to the present.
In this volume Mary Malone explores the fascinating period of the medieval world, from 1000 to 1500. She brings to life women who were mystics and doctors of the church together with those who suffered persecution for pushing boundaries that would one day become mainstream. From Hildegarde of Bingen to Catherine of Siena, from Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine to Marguerite Porete, she gives us history that inspires and values that endure.
