by John Foxe (Author), Voice of the Martyrs (Author)
Would you die for the privilege of proclaiming Christ?
For two thousand years, Christians have courageously faced beatings, stonings, torture, burnings, wild beasts, and every form of evil for boldly proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Written in modernized English, this all-new edition includes the stories of more than 100 Christian martyrs not included in John Foxe's original work, published in 1570. It includes heroes from the Early Church to the Reformation with Christians in the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution, and the twenty-first century.
