by Christine Merser (Author)
"Grisham/Patterson style novel, but with a female lead. Justine made me feel personally empowered just through following her journey on the page."
-JoAnn Cox, Writer and Director of Operations, Women in Film New England
In this powerful trilogy, three women navigate impossible choices in their quest for justice, freedom, and personal potential. From Justine's courageous mission to save a billionaire friend's trafficked daughter, to Caroline's fight to liberate others from the same fate she is still facing, to Ava's ultimate reckoning with her past. These stories weave together a tale of resilience, hope and the unbreakable human spirit.
Flight of the Starling. Justine
Treading water in her Palm Beach divorcée life, Justine is asked by her billionaire friend to lead a black ops operation to rescue his daughter Caroline, trafficked 20 years earlier. From the Hamptons to Saudi Arabia. A journey that changes her life forever.
Flight of the Starling. Caroline
Trafficked years earlier, Caroline makes the decision to not lose all of herself forever in the life she must lead. Her journey affects the lives of other women, her daughter, and then finally, herself.
Flight of the Starling. Ava
Ava has lived her life in the shadows, trafficking young women for revenge and wealth. As her past catches up with her, she's forced to confront the devastating impact of her actions. Seeking redemption, Ava embarks on a journey that will challenge her deepest beliefs about forgiveness, humanity, and what it means to truly be free.
