First On Site: The Origin of a Mobile Dental Hygienist
The Benefits of Consistent Dental Care for Babies and Children
- Have you ever wondered about the difference between a dentist and a dental hygienist?
- How much do you know about common dental terms and medical conditions?
- Do you or your children experience anxiety about going to the dentist?
- Are you interested in finding out about alternative dental offices such as a mobile option that can come to you?
DeAnna Randall Alexander wrote this book to share answers to commonly asked questions and concerns about dental care. It also speaks about her passion for community health, and how she now shares her knowledge of dental care with others.
As a 10-year-old, DeAnna had a vision in a dream of having an ice cream truck-like mobile dental office that would drive around neighborhoods providing dental cleanings and giving away toothbrushes to everyone.
This book about access to dental care is DeAnna's story about her experiences on the road.
Hygiene on Wheels delivers smiles for miles.
