John E. Ward is a professional golf instructor with more than forty years in the business. He's coached nearly ten thousand golfers, including professionals competing on both mini and major tours. He played in the 2009 US Senior Open at Crooked Stick in Carmel, Indiana, and finished as an alternate in the qualifying for the 2013 US Senior Open. Paul K. Woods, PhD, a student of Ward's, is an industrial-organizational psychologist with over thirty years' experience in education, university administration, human development, corporate employee training, and management consulting. Pairing his expertise in analyzing, improving, and assessing organizational performance with Ward's golfing proficiency and years of coaching, he has coauthored the invaluable guide Experience the Feel of Simple Golf, founded on the enduring fundamentals of World Golf Teacher's Hall of Fame member Percy Boomer.
