by Robert M. Maughon (Author)
Is Elvis Presley is alive and well and living in Paris as, well... Elvis (technically, an Elvis impersonator)? Our "what if" story begins when a Memphis, TN Coroner, Dr. Robert St. John, exhumes Presley's body on orders from the State of Tennessee. What he discovers is unexpected and shocking. The clues in The King's grave at Graceland lead him to a Parisian impersonator who claims that he, the REAL Elvis Aaron Presley, faked his 1977 death. Writer Robert Mickey Maughon takes the reader on a spellbinding journey with Dr. St. John as he seeks to uncover the truth behind the grave site mystery. What unfolds in the fabled City Of Lights makes Elvis Is Alive a romance as well as a detective story, but Dr. St. John must focus clearly on his mission in order to discover whether this French man in the bejeweled jumpsuit is just a wanna-be glory grabber or true rock-and-roll royalty.
