Basketball has never been this fun. Meet the Canastones, the most unusual basketball team you could imagine: while they're far from being the best team, their friendship and humor shine through every page of their adventures.
Canastones is a basketball-themed collection packed with humor, starring a group of nine-year-old boys and girls who attend the same school. You don't need to be a basketball expert to enjoy the hilarious antics of Joel and his friends!
Every page features full-color illustrations and comic-style speech bubbles. The fast-paced, humorous reading style makes it ideal for boys and girls aged 8 to 11.
In The Dream Basketball Tournament, Joel and his best friend Bermúdez are going to have to step up if they want to pass P.E. this year, because their new teacher, Coach Evans, is stricter than a drill sergeant. It's time to get in shape, and what better way than... to form their own basketball team and win a championship! That would definitely be easier--if any of their quirky team members had the slightest clue how to play basketball.
