by Deb Smith (Author)
Down There Bear Takes a Dive explains hyperbaric oxygen therapy to children in a non-threatening, age-appropriate way. This book follows Down There Bear (DT) through his experience with a complication following hypospadias surgery in which he receives hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This book is written by a mother who experienced this with her son and explains the process in terms that children can understand. The illustrations are meant to demystify the hyperbaric oxygen chamber so that children are not scared when going for their treatments.
