by Francisco Martín Moreno (Author)
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION "Revenge is nothing new. It's as old as humanity itself."What is life all about, anyway?, wonders Alonso Roel, a powerful business magnate, father of a successful cellist and a talented painter. Although he is a superstitious man, he accepts an invitation to visit a fortune teller to find out whether luck will continue to smile on him. The encounter will change his life forever. Is his wife cheating on him? Should he fear for the health and safety of his loved ones? Does bad luck always come in threes? Driven to discover his own limits, Alonso is surprised at how far he is willing to go, but he never stops to think that by seeking revenge, he may be digging two graves: one for his enemy, and one for himself. In the meantime, love knocks on his door again. Is it true that a man is only as old as the woman he caresses? Is happiness possible without courage? Tell Me It Isn't True is the first work of pure fiction by Francisco Martín Moreno, the author of numerous books on history and politics. What starts with a simple tarot reading becomes a profound journey through human passion and a reflection on the art and beauty that surround us.
