by Emory J. Michael (Author)
In his quest for love, thrills, and adventure, young Jaden Parker embarks on a road trip to gather the threads of his future. Traveling from California to Phoenix to connect with former high school buddies, Jaden meets charming clairvoyant Viviana Vega-who interprets his birth chart and warns of dangers ahead-and Lyla French, a sensuous, fun-loving bookstore clerk he befriends while searching for a good read.
Following the mysterious murder of Jaden's childhood friend, he and Lyla accidentally foil an attempted kidnapping. Having unwittingly exposed a covert, police crime racket, Jaden joins forces with Viviana and Lyla in a life-or-death struggle to rescue abducted twin girls, even as his heart is torn in choosing between these two goddesses in his life.
From the stunning red rocks of Sedona to the glitzy casinos of Las Vegas, Jaden and his companions navigate a perilous gauntlet that draws them ever deeper into a sinister web of scandalous intrigue. Their exploits culminate in an explosive, David-versus-Goliath clash with the leaders of a shadowy, unimaginably corrupt cabal. Through these deadly trials, Jaden comes face-to-face with the living ghosts of his own hidden past.
