by Paige Hockman (Author)
In December's Company, readers are invited to join Paige on a deeply personal journey of her tumultuous childhood and early adulthood. The memoir chronicles the impact of the major losses she experienced so young, each altering the course of her life in profound ways. Through the lens of these challenges, a story is revealed of not just resilience, but also of the power of love and perseverance.
The narrative unfolds with a blend of detail and is filled with fictional touches, as Paige weaves dialogue between characters in order to evoke an engaging, novel-like experience. The characters she creates to represent those who have shaped her journey are vivid and compelling, drawing readers into their lives and making them integral to understanding Paige's own struggles and triumphs.
December's Company is more than simply recounting personal hardship; it is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the unexpected blessings that emerge in the wake of adversity. Paige's memoir serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us all of the power of our inner strength and the impact of the wonderful people who enter our lives when we need them most.
