We produced and sold 1,000 bottles of a fully commercial perfume under our own brand (trademark) and company name with an investment of just over $2,000. From this $2,000 we had enough leftover materials to get started on our next 1,000 bottles.
We were not industry professionals, perfumers or chemists - far from it - but we discovered and used methods that you can use too. Our production "machinery" cost less than $50 and was obtained locally. Every bottle we produced was sold at $26.95. We never offered a discount.
