by Falynn Koch (Author)
Elena is a brave researcher who has come face-to-face with two of humanity's most devastating outbreaks: The Black Plague and Yellow Fever. Her mission is not to eradicate them, but to cultivate them and use them to fight off more destructive diseases. These two illnesses will follow Elena and a T cell along a journey to understanding the immune system, bacteria, viruses, and contagious diseases. This book is a perfect blend of humor, resistance, history, and a detailed explanation of immunology, all from a cell's perspective. You'll also get to read about the latest research pertaining to cancer and malaria.
