by Joe R. Lansdale (Author), Keith Lansdale (Author), T. L. Lankford (Foreword by)
Deck the halls with boughs of zombies! In his original short story, Christmas with the Dead, acclaimed author Joe R. Lansdale delivers a holly-jolly horror story like no other.
Meet Calvin, a man determined to bring the Christmas spirit back to his zombie-infested town, even if it means risking life and limb to hang up those Christmas lights.
This festive compilation includes the original short story, the screenplay adaptation by Keith Lansdale that brought the nightmare to life on screen, and a foreword by the film's director T.L. Lankford which provides an inside look at how this yuletide terror came to life-filmed under the blazing Texas sun, no less.
Christmas with the Dead is a must-have for fans of Joe R. Lansdale's sardonic universe, and anyone who enjoys a blend of suspense, humor, and holiday cheer-served with a merry side of zombie mayhem.
