Welcome to the Cajun Kids Adventure series, where laughter is abundant, danger awaits and mysteries abound. These easy-to-read chapter books introduce you to the dynamic and spirited siblings, Beth, Mark, Timmy, Annie and Sam, as they embark on unforgettable journeys that teach family values, resourcefulness, creativity and the joy of life. Set in a remote area of the Atchafalaya River known as 'Willow Hammock, ' the Cajun Kids are always ready to explore, lend a helping hand, and protect their South Louisiana homeland.
In Volume Four, STORM CLOUDS, a powerful hurricane is barreling toward Willow Hammock. The Cajun Kids and their parents decide to delay their evacuation for a daring search and rescue operation. Along with the help of Mr. Jacobs and Deputy Cook, Beth, Mark, Timmy, Annie and Sam battle rising tides and relentless winds as they race against the eye of the storm. Will they complete their mission before they are overtaken by the Storm Clouds?
