by Schenike Massie-Lambert (Author), Bre'anna Washington-Weatherford (Illustrator), Cairo Lambert (Author)
Tomorrow is a very exciting day! It is Cairo's first day of school and while everyone is excited for him, he is feeling quite nervous. This colorful tale explores Cairo's fears, but also his strengths. With the help of his mother, he explores his worries, his thoughts, and learns a very valuable lesson about the idea that fear and courage often work together. This sweet and honest tale is great for children struggling with various aspects of school. It gently reminds children and adults alike that fear can be viewed as an opportunity to identify one's strengths and build resilience.
