J. V. Simms was the author of the Empress and My Eyes Glow Red series, originally released on Royal Road. When he wasn't writing, he spent his time avoiding his cat, who was likely seeking vengeance for her most recent trip to the vet. Simms lived in Indiana and was always better than his nephew at Minecraft. That's in writing so it must be true.
