by Seth Vicarson (Author)
Can a person live too long? What happens when the caregiver gives out? When love isn't enough, then what?
These harsh considerations aren't overstatements and frame an inescapable reality for many. This poignant, heartfelt, and sometimes comical memoir is stocked with insights and beautifully portrays a son's journey as he cares for his beloved mother. The author draws on his work experience in Medicare-specific health insurance education and weaves his knowledge throughout. The ins and outs of the current healthcare system and evolving dynamics as parents age are explored. References and resources are offered.
