by Ryan C. Bradley (Author), Eva Mout (Illustrator)
Relationships go wrong in Ryan C. Bradley's debut story collection Bad Connections. A musician escapes a haunted rental house but not the ghost he found there. A warden struggles against the psychic monster imprisoning her. A couple finds their relationship put to the ultimate test.
Without connection, we drift untethered, unmoored... unsafe. But sometimes connections decay without dying. These stories filter through the rust and detritus and ask what happens when it's missing or just wrong, if life is just yelling into a phone while going through a tunnel. What if the static isn't interference, but something altogether less... human.
