by Nirbhay Pratap Purewal Legha (Author)
2020 was a rollercoaster of a year, Black Lives Matter, the pandemic, and general social unease birthed this debut collection. "Awake at Dawn" is a compilation that challenges the reader to look into a new day and see hope for society. It deals with the issues that keep us up at night, mental health issues, political issues, climate change, and an uncertain future. This collection was written by Nirbhay Pratap Singh Purewal Legha between the ages of 18-21 and the poems not only capture the transition of adolescence into adulthood but grasp a turbulent world. If you have ever found yourself lying awake at night unable to see the dawn, this book might help you find the way.
