Author Biography

Art Flick, has long been nationally recognized as a superb fly fisherman and entomologist, a meticulous and innovative fly-tyer, and a devoted conservationalist. Lauded by other great fly-fishing authors of the late 20th century, including Vincent Mariano, Ernest Schwiebert, and Nick Lyons, Flick's book was a hit among anglers when it first appeared in 1947, and provided a model for fly-fishing entomology texts for years to come.
