by Kerri Firth (Author), Katarina Stevanovic (Illustrator)
Two friends start the day playing princesses, and end up on an imaginative journey inspired by 12 amazing, contemporary women. Zaha Hadid, Mindy Kaling, and Tammy Duckworth, among others, will inspire young readers to build, write, explore, and become a princess AND so much more. The beautiful watercolor illustrations and inspiring dialogue are supported by a child-friendly non-fiction appendix of the women referenced in the story, with sources cited. Diverse, imaginative, and magical - this story celebrates how ordinary play can illuminate the potential that lives inside each of us.
