by Darlene Lamoureux (Author), Karen Hanson (Author)
Two compelling stories come together under a single cover to attest to the presence of the one true God. The authors, Darlene and Karen, share spiritual insights they have gained through their relationships with Jesus Christ. At 14, Karen was admitted to a rehab center for adults with substance addictions and was forced to cope with the powerful President Director - an arrogant man with a depraved way of treating young girls. An unexpected brain tumor diagnosis suddenly terminated Darlene's exciting career plans, but through her trust and worship of The Almighty, Darlene's most important uncertainties were laid to rest. Years later, these two women found themselves seatmates on an airplane and concluded that the God they both serve brought them together for a reason! Could it be to share, together, the hope they have in Christ? An Almighty God? Get Serious! and Trophies Of Grace invite you to enjoy what the LORD has done through these real-life journeys of inspiration.
