by Kathryn Selbert (Illustrator)
A playful re-imagining of the traditional Scottish rhyme filled with bright illustrations and lots of lift-the-flaps fun!
"Ally bally, ally bally bee,
Sittin on yer mammy's knee
Greetin for a wee bawbee
Tae buy some Coulter's Candy."
Little Ally is having fun -- singing with Mummy, playing in the sun and getting messy with Daddy!
Sing along and lift the flaps to discover teddy getting splashed in a paddling pool, covered in paint and lost under a pile of sweeties.
This is a playful re-imagining of the traditional Scottish rhyme -- perfect for sharing with very young children. The bright, colorful illustrations are full of fun details to spot and each page is enhanced with durable, toddler-friendly flaps.
