by Kathleen McLeod (Author), Barb Shaw (Illustrator)
Discover a fresh perspective on snow with Kathleen McLeod's A Snowflake's Dance. This mesmerizing journey captures the life cycle of Snowflake as it navigates through Canada's Eastern Arctic, evolving through seasons from a crystalline snowflake to a snowfield, then a glacier, an iceberg, and finally returning to its original form.
Young readers will meet the Inuit, fascinating Arctic creatures, and the trio of narrators: Landscape, Sea, and Sky. Each character contributes to painting a breathtaking picture of the Arctic's ecosystem and its interconnectedness with the rest of the world. As visually appealing as it is informative, the book is enriched with vibrant watercolour illustrations.

The book easily integrates into school curriculums as it facilitates learning about the seasons, the Arctic environment, northern wildlife, snow formation, and glaciers. It provides an engaging platform for children to explore the marvels of natural science and geography.
