by Rory Brown Sipp (Author), Ricky Scott (Illustrator)

A Psalm to My Sons is Dr. Rory Brown-Sipp's first book and was inspired by his own life experiences. Psalm incorporates his spiritual insights and his desire to support America's youth, especially underserved, at-risk, young men of color. At the time Dr. Sipp wrote this book, he was an instructor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and also served as the Executive Director for Acelero Learning, one of the largest providers of Head Start services in the state of Nevada. In July 2012, Dr. Sipp was honored at the White House by President Barack Obama's administration as a White House "Champion of Change" for his outstanding dedication and devotion to his work in a social service program providing support to our nation's most vulnerable citizens.
