In this best-selling, heartwarming tale, a lonely older man takes home a pet-shop kitten that no one else wants. It doesn't take long for the pair to warm up to each other, and soon, they're inseparable. Told through the eyes of both the man and his cat, this sweet and hilarious story is a balm for the soul!
In an attempt to heal after the loss of his wife, Mr. Kanda decides to visit his father-in-law--a fellow cat fancier--for the first time in a long while. Though both men adored the late Suzune, will Mr. Kanda find a warm welcome awaiting him despite the ever-present grief both men feel? Throw five kitties into the mix, and warmth and mischief surely lurk around every corner!Author Biography
