by H. L. Sawyer (Author)
HL Sawyer's A Eulogy to the Cosmos: Seeing the Divine through Quantum eyes, is an overlay of traditional religious doctrine with recent scientific discovery. It presents a unique juxtaposition of the unquantifiable world of spiritual beliefs with the quantifiable worlds of quantum physics, biology and in-general science.
Sawyer through the use of parable and analogy makes the case for an intelligently designed, interconnected, monotheistic universe. A universe where a Divine awareness is connected to the Awarenesses of all sentient beings. A universe where all life forms have some level of sentience and thus are Divinely connected. A universe where all sentient life forms have their own unique frequencies. A universe which is a veritable symphony of frequencies both accessible and invisible to the human mind.
In a fast, fun read, Sawyer opens the eyes of one's curiosity to a wide array of topics. From the sentience of an ant, to the overall awesomeness of life, to discoveries in the quantum world, to the history of world religious thought, to lessons learned from Star Trek, and on to speculations of an afterlife, Sawyer melds scientific facts to spiritual doctrine in a unique and interesting manner.
