A deadly secret. A buzzing mystery. This duo is about to get stung by the truth...
St. Mateo, the Palmchat Islands. Sophie Carter, the determined and ever-curious reporter for the Palmchat Gazette, has a nose for trouble.
When a local woman is found dead on the beach, seemingly the victim of a fatal bee attack, the police are quick to close the case as a tragic accident.
But Sophie's clever talking cat, Callie, has other ideas.
After discovering the bees were already dead before they touched the woman, Sophie knows there's more to the story than meets the eye.
As Sophie digs deeper, she uncovers whispers of a dangerous scandal at the Bee Well Medical Center, where the victim worked. With the help of the dead woman's friend and her niece, Sophie learns of the shady practices and sinister secrets hiding beneath the spa's serene surface.
Determined to expose the truth, Sophie and Callie hatch a plan to go undercover at the spa, putting their lives on the line to catch a killer.
Can Sophie and Callie unearth the dark deeds behind the woman's death before the killer strikes again?
A Dark and Devious Tail is the purrfect new addition to the Sassy Sarcastic Cat Cozy Mysteries series. If you love beachside mysteries, witty banter, and a feline with attitude, you won't want to miss this gripping tale!
