by Tom Manchester (Author)
Old Guys Playing Golf is a humorous and heartfelt reflection on life, friendship, and the peculiar joys of a game that never gets old-even when the players do. Tom Manchester takes readers on a journey through the fairways and sand traps of life, recounting tales of camaraderie, misadventures, and the quirks of being an "old guy" with a golf club. From the ruthlessness of the scorecard to the unpredictability of the golf gods, Manchester's witty storytelling captures the frustrations and triumphs of the sport. Whether it's debating rules with friends, navigating moral quandaries on the green, or marveling at the serenity of nature on the course, these stories celebrate the simple pleasure of chasing that perfect shot-amid plenty of slices and shanks. With warmth, wisdom, and plenty of laughs, this book is a must-read for golfers and anyone who cherishes good company and a great story. Grab your clubs, embrace the excuses, and join the fun of Old Guys Playing Golf-because, as Manchester reminds us, "We do this for fun, right?"
