by Izzy Justice (Author)
Golf has three competitors: other players, the course, and-most importantly-you.
Scoreboards tell you how you performed against others. Your score against par shows how you performed against the course. But how do you measure your performance against yourself-the only competitor you truly control?
In GYRA Golf, sports neuropsychologist Dr. Izzy Justice introduces a game-changing tool: the GYRA Mental Scorecard. Backed by neuroscience and Emotional Intelligence (EQ), this is the first-ever system that allows you to track your thoughts, emotions, and focus-per shot, per hole-just like your physical score.
Based on a 12-month research study and data from hundreds of golfers, this practical, easy-to-use approach helps you understand your mental patterns, recover from bad shots faster, and improve your performance under pressure. You'll learn how the brain responds to stress on the course, how emotions shape decisions, and how to train your mental "equipment" like you do your swing.
Whether you're a junior golfer, weekend warrior, or seasoned pro, GYRA Golf gives you the tools to compete against your toughest opponent: yourself.
"You may never play golf the same way if you start measuring your mental performance on the golf course."
-Gary Player, World Golf Hall of Fame
"The difference between a good and great player is usually their mental approach. This is groundbreaking."
-Tim Straub, Davidson College
