by Bill Etherton (Author)
Before the proliferation of round-the-clock sports coverage, the local broadcaster was the eyes, ears, and mouth for most sports fans. The voices that came out of the televisions and radios became old friends to those that lived and died by their teams' performances. For fans of Notre Dame in the 1950s, 60s and 70s, Bill Etherton was a staple that eloquently articulated the passion of Irish fans. Here you will be granted access beyond the broadcast booth for a joyful trip down memory lane.
