by Frank McClure (Author)
Born into a sharecropping family during the Jim Crow South, this book chronicles a powerful journey of resilience and faith. Inspired by the legacy of Negro League and its players such as Jackie Robinson and Willie Mayes, a fellow barrier-breaker, the author shares a story of overcoming a significant personal hardship (details revealed within). Faith served as a guiding light from a young age, leading the author to become a Deacon and dedicated community leader. Highlighting the struggles of the past, the book emphasizes the importance of understanding history and the sacrifices made by previous generations. Drawing strength from Joshua 1:7-9, it encourages readers to be strong and courageous in their own pursuits. This is a compelling story for anyone seeking inspiration, a testament to the enduring power of faith and the human spirit in the face of adversity. For we walk by Faith, not by sight. 2: Corinthians 5:7.
